The Singing Bridge Lodge in Cummington, MA, is a labor of love brought to life by Mariam. She purchased the building in 2014 and spent a year renovating it, transforming it into a warm and inviting space. In 2015, Mariam opened The Vegan Cafe, welcoming guests to enjoy fresh, creative meals in a quirky, friendly atmosphere. She even built an outdoor pizza oven, hosting lively pizza parties that became community favorites. Eventually, Mariam realized that running a cafe and pizza events was more work than she wanted to take on.
Looking for a more sustainable path, she transformed the space into a year-round Airbnb lodge—a cozy, colorful, and creative retreat where guests can relax and enjoy the charm of Cummington in any season.
Today, The Singing Bridge Lodge reflects Mariam’s vision: a welcoming, artistic, and quirky haven where every guest feels at home.

Such a wonderful space! Mariam was very helpful, and the lodge had everything we needed and was very peaceful. We especially enjoyed morning coffee outside overlooking the beautiful grounds. Looking forward to staying again on another trip!

perfect for me to visit thunder mountain, i can ride all day and come to this nice spot a short distance away to rest, relax by the peaceful river, calming live music Sunday night, wonderful kitchen and cozy decorations.
